Sustainability Initiatives

Long-Term Success Without Dependency

BCIU has a goal to become entirely sustainable, without financial dependencies on partners or sponsors. While there will always be capital needs as we grow, we are aiming to generate adequate funds to cover the costs of our day to day operations. By investing in agricultural projects (corn, bananas pineapple, etc.), we are able to generate income to sustain our organisation. We therefore call upon everyone to support our agricultural projects to help us create our own self- sustainability.
By funding our sustainability initiatives, we can focus on making communities self-sufficient, by investing in education, skills development, and creating work and income through various projects. To break the cycle of poverty, we must create and teach self-sustainability.
